Rhonda said that she can stay with the kids! And I booked the room at the bed and breakfast and arranged to take a vacation day on Friday! Just think... Long walks on the beach... Romantic dinners by candlelight... Our own in room spa... Cozy evenings by the fire... I just hope the kids don't missus too much. All the TV we want to watch... Nothing but pizza and macaroni for three days... How soon do they leave?

I think Rhonda was the wiser choice. Unless they invited all the grandparents to come to them or sent one kid to Darryl’s folks and one to Wanda’s, they’d be starting a grandparent war with them caught in the middle.
