I am the guy in the background who keeps getting knocked down, like in the movie “Free Guy”

In a parallel universe?

The Old Testament pretty well describes that scenario. Replace the word God (or concept) with Alien and you have the script.

I’m the background character that spends way too much time reading the funnies.

Me, too, Lola.

I’m happily a minor character in reality. The thought of all the drama in the main character’s lives is enough to give me hives. Nice, quiet minor character for me.

When they cast Lola, there was a crack in the mold.
