Teamwork is important in a marriage

My son and I made up a golf foursome with a psychologist and his wife. Complete strangers. All during the round of golf he berated, belittled and brow-beat her. She looked completely whipped. It was unbelievable. She beat him by two strokes.

An outsider may make observations you miss. Be sure to thank her.

You may “enjoy” some team-deprecation.

Let her know that you depreciate the help.

With her help, he has become over-deprecated.
