The money is need for beer or for his pigeons, (which I haven’t seen for quite awhile).

Andy does have a point. I saw a video where the message was ‘there are more important things than money’, and then goes on to show friends, family, quiet time, etc, all in situations that take viel Geld $$$! My reaction to the ‘beautiful and inspiring’ video was the same as Andy’s. I’m not sure how to reconcile this…

Obviously, earning it is out of the question.

I would think “borrow” is the wrong word, since he never pays her back!

When I was just a very young man I made a very conscious decision. I had to choose between making a lot of money – which I could do if I chose to conform to the norm, and live and work in certain places, … or have a life and lifestyle that while not making me a great deal of money, satisfied my creative needs and my love of travel and adventure. I chose the latter. It is something that I have never, ever, regretted doing!

I may not be rich in a monetary sense but I’m fabulously wealthy with memories!

They ought to sell a copy of that pot on an Andy Capp website; I’d probably buy one!

And what’s with ‘borrow’ stuff, you’ve already incurred enough in ‘borrowed’ money to rival the national debt.

One thing that puzzles me is…why does Flo always says the word Borrow. Can anyone recall a time when Andy repaid her? Sounds more like government borrowing with no intention of paying it back.

Maybe there are more important things than money – but money (any some manner) is mentioned over 4000 times in the Bible – more than any other sin type. And love of money is still the root of All EVIL.
