For me, depression isn’t limited to the now but to the endless and mindless destructions of masses of the innocent throughout the last 8 decades.

S-o-o-o-o headlines I read, descriptive videos and pics I avoid where possible. Too many repeats of the scenes from Pearl Harbor and the resulting war, either in actual film footage or the Hollywood versions from when I was just 6 yrs old.

Oh, yes, more horrendous events occurred in the eons preceding that period, but, unlike the cold history books, these happened during my lifetime and I still feel their effects.

Remember George W. Bush, “You’re either with us or against us.” He defined the binary thinking of the Republican Party. If you are not “all in” with their policies you are a RINO.

Now to be fair, if the ReTrumpliKKKlans said the sky is blue, the Democrats would deny it. When asked what color it is, they will state “not blue.”

It’s always been that way, but it’s a lot worse now.
