You always sound better singing in the shower, in the old days shower rooms were sometimes used to record singers, due to the sound effects.

I don’t know if it makes you sound better, but you’re less likely to get funny looks than if you’re singing Боже, Царя храни! in traffic.

I can sound pretty scary in the shower too, especially if I sing “Oklahoma” real loud.
