I hate when the Tuna Muncher makes a good point . Just like a picture tells a thousand words ,wording also brings out different thoughts in one’s mind ;-)
Bucky actually has a point — I’ve taken to binging older British mystery shows for an escape lately. While there’s generally a murder, they are, on the whole, much milder than more current fare.
I no longer find most blockbuster movie entertainment relaxing. Did I really live through the days when computer-generated special effects were SUBTLE ?
anyone notice that the original date on this strip is 2010 and we’re still in the same boat? Tense people, bad economy, etc. (at least I have baseball back!) :)
“Global warming making people’s butts stick to their cars” — I can relate to that. I had the misfortune to spend some time in Texas, driving a car with a black fake-leather interior.

I can see it now. Stallone in a whole new genre of films, “Rainbow”, “Rocky and Bullwinkle”, “Judge Fred Rogers”, “Tango and Cash and Carry”.

oooh, Darby got away with one. “FLICK” is often edited out of hand lettered strips.
