I keep forgetting that John’s mom’s hair is like his.

With a heavy heart, I’m sad to say this is my first mother’s day without mom. Passed away last summer due to complications with injuries from long ago.

The closet picture of have of my mother is that of her with her parents and older siblings for her parents’ 65th wedding anniversary in 2003. That was the last family portrait before she passed the following year. It’s hung above my iMac from which I am typing my GoComics comment. Oh, there are also two pictures of her perched on my fireplace mantel.

I would like characters like Garfields mom, or new characters to appear more frequently. It gets a bit repetitive for the same 3 characters appearing everyday. I still like the comic though
