These are the kinds of pages that remind us that Georgia really has had So Many Cats. We all know the helpless frustration of destructive kitties, and we love them anyway. Still Very Good Boys and Girls.
OT: Carmelas’ dad will have surgery for the pacemaker scheduled at 10am central. I never knew before how that worked, your heart is never again connected to the impulses from your brain, just a little battery powered device. I will let you know more when I do.
My cat just pulled a Puck just now. I got a new desk here and I had papers on the desk when Angel jumped up on the desk scattering everything that was on the desk to the floor, along with her. I had to check her to make sure she hadn’t hurt herself. I hope she learned her lesson not to jump up here anymore. LOL…. :)
Agnes-Ata: You seem sad. Is there something wrong?
Mel: I’m alright. It’s just that tragedy is my thing.
Agnes-Ata: Is it alright if I visit with you for awhile?
Mel: Sure. It’s nice to share things with someone. Say, aren’t you one of the Royal Procurers?
Agnes-Ata: Yes. I understand you have an overabundance of honey you would like us to take.
Mel: That would be great. It would be a tragedy if all this lovely honey went to waste. Especially since we’ve just discovered a treasure trove of magical flowers at the Cosmos Nursery.
Agnes-Aga: Oh, do you know Trevor-Hotep?
Mel: Yes. He makes me smile. Oh look, here comes one of the workers now with a few friends.
Enter Beatrixia, Diana, and a Bee
Diana: ♫ I have a friend who is a Bee, and I have a friend who is Bea. We dance along merrily, we dance along merrily!♫
Bea: ♫ Diana has a bee on her nose, and I dance along with my many toes. We dance along merrily, we dance along merrily!♫
Agnes-Ata: Pleased to meet you, Ms Bee. Your specialty must be dance.
Bee: That’s right. I’m honored to meet a Royal Procurer. My name is Terpsichore, you can call me Kira.
One of my old cats used to scrunch up every rug in the house. It was a game. He would then crawl under the rug. He used to anchor the quilts that I was stitching. He was such a good cat. I miss him.
I’m imagining a scene between yesterday and today, where someone says something to Elvis and he doesn’t respond. They then gently tap him and find he’s gone stiff as a board. After brief consultation on what to do, Goldie gamely picks him up and carries him over to the safety of a bed that Puck solicitously prepares.
Thank you all from both of us for your thoughts and prayers for her dad’s procedure. He came through in great shape other than the after anesthesia hangover “Get me out over here!”.
I have a lot of placemats that I rescued from the, let’s just call them the cleanup brigade in this house. I do various things with them, lately I’ve been tying a boot lace or curtain cord to a toy and rolling it up in the placemat and pulling it gently along on the floor. Foxy goes completely ape [catbox] and does these HUEG MEGA-POUNCES at it. Wheee! She’s having a blast with this stuff. And right now, that’s all I care about in this world.

Once again, Georgia shows her superb artistry by painting (in watercolors!) patterns on everything cloth-y, and getting the rumples correct!
