Some of you will be disappointed, but there’s no gun and Coffyhead did get the drugs he was after. I’m guessing that Tracy’s wrist device can see through the glass of the front door. Dot looks even less happy than yesterday.

My prediction- there’s a shoot-out and Matt throws himself in front of Dot to save her.

Good morning™, miffed maidens and determined detectives. Something tells me Milligan will be looking for a new specialty. I didn’t know there would be shooting !!!  Dot has definitely washed her hands of “Tonsils” and believe me she WILL have a say about any future appearances by the former guest star has been.

Despite the wild guesses by some there’s no way Tracy can see what’s going on via his wrist watch. Is there a drone in the air?

Seeing as Tracy gave Matt that lecture about doing the right things in life, he’ll probably smooth over things with Dot by saying Matt was working with him….which he is.

A possible fire? Is that a hot butt being thrown down on the bottom left of panel one?

Coffeehead gonna HATE that jailhouse coffee, lol

They’re all packing .45s….let’s see some good old fashioned gunplay. Coffyhead is one person I wouldn’t mind seeing get a case of fatal lead poisoning.

Of course you may see Matt buy the farm…..

Or just a routine surrender by the bad guys…..

I don’t know about Mulligan but Sam and Tracy have the grim look of cops who are just itching for an excuse to ventilate some fool…..

Well, if Matt knew he was supposed to meet Javaface at the Ajax again the next night the police would have been able to set up cameras to send Tracy the picture. Of course in that case did they need to be following Matt around and telling Milligan, “Don’t worry about the guy he’s buying from, we want the guy he’s selling to!”? They would. Got to rescue the kidnap victim. OTOH… They sure as h**l should be interested in the guy Matt was buying from. You’re supposed to be working your way up the supply chain on drugs to eliminate the source not down to the pusher on the street.

Did anyone else momentarily wonder why Tracy’s wrist was chained to the door? I personally wouldn’t have lined the Wrist Wizard up with the chain and lock so perfectly.

Matt just has to start singing that stupid song, they’ll all give themselves up

MILLIE: So…is anyone off limits so far as lead poisoning is concerned? Nobody’s really told me anything about this raid…

TRACY (in previous, unseen briefing): Now your ‘safety’ word is Snuffluffagus. If things go south, work that into the conversation EIGHT times. Or just spell out your trouble in semaphore with your arms. But beware of ‘typos’. I’ll monitor it on the my new keen-o Magic 8 Ball watch on my wrist!

Neo-Tonsils (in a monotone drone): So, I’m doomed, right?

Today I learned that Milligan is a uniformed officer and not a detective, as I had proposed. I also learned that for purposes of panel 2, Sam is at least temporarily left-handed, as well as oblivious to safety protocols with his firearm.

Today I did not learn exactly how Tracy’s Wrist Wizard manages to view the four who are inside remotely. But it does, and that, in the end, is all that counts. Three armed cops should be sufficient to take down Coffyhead and Luigi, one or both of whom may wind up dead fish dead if they choose to shoot it out with Tracy and his crew.

Unless the “fog of war” brings on a tragic result, both Dot and Matt seem likely to survive. The Romantic Tragedy is that they survive to go their separate ways, as Dotty wants nothing more to do with deceitful drug dealer Matt McCullar….

For a lady who has just been rescued, Dot looks very angry!
