Remember the HAPPY DAYS episode where Richie flirted with a girl who turned out to be shoplifting and got him to stand between her and the security camera?

There are many ways to shoplift. I remember reading an article about teenage shoplifters who hid the stolen goods in shopping bags, their pocketbooks, and even under heavy sweaters.

Also, when I was at boarding school, students were not allowed to bring their laundry bags into the stores. I concluded that some of them had used their laundry bags for shoplifting, and agreed to obey the rule.

This arc would be much more exciting if the thieves saw the kids spotting them and took them hostage.
