I agree with you! Life was (sort of) better without the cellular phones and computers and being instantly bothered all the time. It was great to have people around and socialize and people had more patience and people made good, clean shows without bad words and sax and violins and we watched a lot of educational and good wholesome shows.
actually, it is, there are stations playing repeats of old shows all day long…you can still watch bonanza, wagon train, leave it to beaver, the three stooges all day long

In the “golden age” there was one possibly two channels and you were happy to get anything to watch.

Television has never lacked for bad shows. But people didn’t seem as addicted as they are now. Nothing on, just turn off the TV.
