Advice from an EX-coworker: You need to learn to pace yourself. Once you get done with your assignment they will just give you another one.
Reward for a job well done….. more work
Where I work, if you learn a new skill, suddenly that task will be YOUR RESPONSIBILITY – FOREVER. It’s better to plead ignorance, and have less to do each day . . . especially when raises are across the board, and NOT merit-based.
