    Why did she plant the flowers perpendicular to the house and so far apart? These are best used as an adornment for the house and planted closer together and perhaps with some mixing of varieties. Planted this way, they are open to death by any good gust of wind.

    Well, that would suck for me. I love planting petunias… and geraniums… and marigolds… and the occasional pansy, though they never seem to last long. The pansies are a bunch of pansies.
