Rats! Joe didn’t get around to painting my house yesterday. He did come here and he scraped the old paint, but I think that took a lot longer than he expected it to take. He still will paint another day, but I don’t know when. He had another commitment and had to leave here by 1:00 in the afternoon. Yesterday was a beautiful day (up to 81 degrees) but very windy. I took full advantage, spending time outside before work and eating lunch outside while I was at work. But now the weather is turning worse. Rain coming, highs in the 40’s coming, etc. Bummer!

The neighboring village, about 4 miles from here, had their “village wide garage sale” over the weekend. Lots of people held garage sales. Too bad the weather didn’t want to cooperate. It rained all day on Friday. The temperature was great on Saturday, but the wind was so strong, if you didn’t have everything inside you garage, things were likely to blow away. I didn’t make it to any of the garage sales myself. I think my hometown does the “village wide garage sale” in June.

I’m very glad I didn’t have anything in my mouth when I saw the last panel!

Pretty darned funny! One might think that Annie is staying awfully late, but then again, it might be the middle of the afternoon…

Days Of Our Lives has a character, formerly known as Ghoul Girl. (Nadia Bjorlin). From time to time she refers to herself as that. New viewers wouldn’t have a clue what she is referring to unless the producers show flashbacks from way back. In her Ghoul Girl days, she was Goth … really Goth.

Who’s scared of that? How about ten fraidy cats. (You gotta admit, that is a pretty scary story.) On another note, saw a butterfly, a chickadee and three robins while out walking today.
