The 7 ages of man …

Not always true.

When you see a vet selling poppies, please give a couple of dollars.

Don’t by pass up the opportunity.

After 43 years, the only thing I have left is a pair of pants and they still fit.

just yesterday i tried on my USN uniform & it fit (after losing 45lbs) :-)

I tossed my uniforms the day I got my discharge, 52 years ago.

My dress shoes and boots still fit. My waist, unfortunately is 25% more.

I got out 37 years ago, and because of a storage fire the only things I have left from those days are my dog tags, a few photos, and (thankfully) my DD-214.

Boots still work. Haul out the medals on Memorial Day and get drunk. Vietnam to the ’Stan.

Yesterday was Armed Services Day. Saaal-Luuute!

Back in the late ‘80s I had a neighbor who still wore his WW1 dress uniform to march in the local Memorial Day & Veterans’ Day parades.

i’m a vet but i still thanks the vietnam vets. even though i was there and destert storm

In my experience-very true! (Thou, my ‘cover’ has become a little tight!)

I have the dog tags of a maternal great-great-great uncle who served in WWI. My mom has all the medals and service bars from my dad. Not sure what else she kept. He passed away in 2014. He served 23 yrs. Starting in Germany just after WWII (1948). He served in Vietnam for a year. Retired in 1973.
