I live in Minnesota. Duluth might get wet, but I think we’ll be fine here

I never had any intention of going there and that was when it wasn’t such a pit, IMHO.

If I wanted to retire to someplace warm, I’d do Arizona (it’s where the majority of my maternal relatives lives).

In Alaska, they’re called Sourdoughs. Too sour on the land and not enough dough to leave…

There are lots of other people who do plenty of thinking and worrying about climate change – and some of them seem to do more than enough for the rest of us.

I’m not worried about climate change, except for that ice age thing. I don’t like the cold.

The cost of the climate is so much that there’s never any change.

Florida has gotten so expensive. High insurance rates because of hurricanes. Gas prices have always been higher than neighboring Alabama. Food prices too. Now with Desantis move against Disney taxes around there are going to jump.

Florida used to be better 25 years ago. But the traffic and republicans have gotten much worse since then.

I was planning a long trip to Disney World before the pandemic. Now, with the mess that state has chosen to be, no, I will not bring myself and my credit card anywhere near there.

I think I’d strongly consider Costa Rica.

No snow in Chicago, but it will be quite warm this week.

Albuquerque seems to be decent. Some years ago, I was there in January, cold but not unbearable, and in July, hot but, again, not unbearable. I tend to tolerate heat better than cold.

If you survive long enough, where you are now will BE like Florida.
