I got the feeling JJ has been peeking again. Just today I was thinning out my saved music videos, as in “What was I thinking when I thought it would be a good idea to save that.”
why is the cover drifting on the TV screen? I understand the listening to music part, just not why there is a cover displayed rather than those playing the music or the face of a commentator.
TVs now have high quality sound systems. I remember when you needed an expensive component sound system that filled a large cabinet to listen to music.
I’m trying to decide who he’s listening to to make her wonder about smoking: The Doors, LED Zeppelin, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Jimmy Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Barry Manilow?
Way back we used to watch the test pattern waiting for the program day to start or watch the test pattern after the national anthem played and the programming day ended at midnight.
Playing Where Do Arlo & Janis Live…southern state, couple hours drive from the coast, snows in the winter. Looks like medical is legal in Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana. I’m kind of surprised.
Our state recently passed a law making pot legal for adults. Husband and I were “good kids” in the early/mid 1970s and never tried any drugs (after college when I old enough to drink alcohol I did so once and it was terrible so I stick with diet soda).
We both had the same idea – does this mean we should try pot? Still thinking over the question and if we do -should only one of us try it in case there is some problem (with the assortment of meds we take if nothing else).
Been 4 months since it became legal – still not sure if we should try it or not.

I think it is a failure to find anything else on TV that is worth my time. At least that’s my excuse.

I’m not smoking anything. I did have three of those brownies that you made.

Microsoft would have sold a trillion copies of Windows 95 back in the 60s and ’70s, stoners would have bought it just for the screensavers.

What in tarnation is this stoner strip all about?

it might be his TV or the service itself, making the album cover drift about the screen like a screensaver would

Several of my TV screen savers are more interesting to watch than most TV programs

I’m not one of those people who’s nostalgic for the sound of vinyl, but CDs sure killed album cover art!
