Very little has made me laugh as hard as the episode of the Simpsons when Bart replaced the sheet music in church for “In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida” and had the whole congregation sing it that Sunday.
only if you turn up the speed, then it’s hard to tell what they’re saying at all, which is hilarious… :D for some reason my toy record player disappeared.
Only thing is, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida ran just over 17 minutes and filled one whole side of a 12" LP. Wilberforce appears to be holding a 45 RPM single so it must be the radio edit.

Don’t put your dirty fingers on my dear old Iron Butterfly’s “In The Garden Of Life”!

From what I have learned is In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is the drunk pronunciation of In The Garden Of Eden

Loved the drum solo on the long version-which was rarely, if ever, played on the radio

A good song to play if you want cut other people off the jukebox.

Iron Butterfly, when you think about it, there a bit of irony in that name.

AHA! A peek into Uncle Ted’s youth. My guess is like a lot of us there was some weed and Dark Side of the Moon on his weekends!
