I don’t think you want to talk about severance packages with slave-holding insectoids. Usually it’s about body parts.

better than “we will kidnap you again if you have any openings.”

I think I worked for that guy when I was doing contract work for Lockheed Martin.

I wondered how Tim was going to get them out of there, since Brewster is to incompetent to have escaped on his own…

Uh, how can the I’s re-kidnap the humans if the humans have been retired? It’s not as if the I’s can’t make the new “hires” work (cf. the I’s keen motivational slogan).

There are those in north Africa who raid for slaves as needed.

There are those in Asia who use underage slaves until not needed then run them off, taking fresh ones the next year.
