Does he realize he’s singing a mezzo-soprano piece?

Does he CARE he’s singing a mezzo-soprano piece?

    I rest my case.

course not, he’s got a lovely operatic voice when his all-in-one spacesuit is a bit too snug

That piece can be sung perfectly well by a good tenor. I stipulate, though, he must be a GOOD tenor.

Mezzo-Soprano, contra-Bass - it doesn’t matter, he’s digitaized! With the right software, he can alter himself to sing what ever range he wants…

Let’s here… yeah. I see the problem. While Brew could shift his voice (or transpose the piece) that’s because there’s something there to shift. Dr. Mel’s locator has to have something to locate. Works on brain waves.
