I turn sixty-nine Thursday. Haven’t played golf in about fifteen years. Looked at my golf clubs sitting in the closet the other day. Thought to myself, “Why do I still have these?” Couldn’t come up with a good answer. Donated the clubs to Goodwill. Hopefully, someone will put them to better use than I ever did.
it takes the head to teach the body the muscle memory. It only took one part of a game of gold to teach my head that the body’s muscle memory was never going to become a thing.
