Meanwhile over at the Hofbräu, the wurst is yet to come, so relax and order another beer.

So it’s a misfortune cookie?

Wouldn’t it be funny if a pie popped out of the box and hit Garfield in the face and the fortune read “you will receive your just desserts”.

My family has a tradition when we go to a Chinese Restaurant. We all take turns reading our fortunes, and the one with the lamest fortune, wins. So far I’m the Grand Champion.

So fridays could be the wool is yet to come.

Those fortune cookies are evil.

Don’t tell me, Jon’s out of lasagna?

Sorry Garfield, but, Mondays are doomed for you, with or without, your fortune cookie.

I got a doozie once, “You’re ugly and your children are stupid!” I put that one on my bulletin board at work. Still makes me chuckle.

The sad thing is? I think that fortune is accurate…

Unfortunately

That fortune seems to be inappropriate for Monday. As Monday is often seen as the worst day of the week, it usually gets better over time. Perhaps, this is the new normal.

Or, if it came from a deli, the WURST…

Let’s see…Monday’s are bad for Garfield because it is the start of a work week? NO -that can’t be it…

Garfield’s still got it. This one is good, but I wish he would rekindle his hatred for Mondays a bit more often.

Anyone reminded of “Rocko’s Modern Life” when Filburt got that fortune cookie at that Chinese restaurant?

I’m actually working on a Sparta Remix with Garfield saying “I Hate Mondays”.

I once heard about a fortune cookie that prophesied “You will never amount to anything.”

Fortune cookies don’t have fortunes anymore. Someone must have gotten a bad fortune that devastated them and they sued the cookie company!!!

I had Chinese food yesterday, weird

One day, many eons hence, the Sun will expand and engulf the Earth, reducing it and everything on it to superheated plasma. Possibly not the worst thing that can possibly happen, but certainly not something I would want to witness first hand.

A couple of weeks ago I had Chinese with some ex-colleagues – should I be worried that both my cookie, and one given to me by one of them, were empty?

Especially since it was my birthday?
