How did I miss Sterling in the laundry basket the first time around??

I’m thinking that having a live crab in your clothing could be …problematic.

My dad has a story of him and his older brother (who was old enough to know better) putting a “pet” squirrel in a cardboard box

Mom first time: “Take off your clothes and I’ll add them to the wash”.

Mom second time (or later): “Take off your clothes and empty the pockets and I’ll add them to the wash”.

Mom ever after: “Go outside, empty your pockets, take off your clothes, hose yourself down, wait for my to do an inspection, and I’ll add you and your brother to the wash with your father’s lobster gear”.

There has to be over 20 critters there, including Sterling, of course.
