Growing up, our first dog was named Rover. Then there was King and Prince.

Earl of Hurl! That just means Rover is smart and has stomach problems. If my Rugby eats to quickly he immediately has indigestion problems. We use half a Pepcid. Problem solved and approved by Vet.

I am the proud chief-of-staff to my two adopted felines. A six year old male formerly known as Corbin. He’s now Sir Corbin James, and a five year ole female formerly known as Blaine. She’s now Lady Blaine Alexandra. Both a FIV+, but are both thriving.

    A reminder, #adoptdon’tshop

When Marion Morrison was a boy, he had a dog called Duke and they became known as Big Duke and Little Duke. Marion Morrison was still called Duke after he grew up and became an actor called John Wayne.

Our yellow Lab has a title: “Her Royal Highness Princess Taylor Compton-Bond” because our friends reckon she is treated like a princess. Little do they know that she actually rules the household, we just pay the bills!

Newton is referred to as “Sir Issac” at daycare but he was named Newton because his puppy coloring (lighter body, darker ears) reminded us of a Fig Newton cookie—and the groomer still calls him “Fig.”
