Ah, Droodles. I remember them from about 1955. Sort of visual puns. The one I’ll never get out of my mind is “Ship Arriving too Late to Save a Drowning Witch”. A simpler one was just a single stroke called “Used Lollipop”.
I just looked up “droodle” online as I never heard of them. Per what I read it was a syndicated cartoon in the early 1950s (maybe late 1940s also) that were published in a book in 1953.
