Since we’re talking about fathers, here are some quotes from my narcissistic old man, just from the last year: “If I had my life to live over again, I wouldn’t have had children”. “I’ve led a good life. It wasn’t the life I wanted, but it was a good life”. “No matter how much you love your children, there are always aspects of their personality that disappoint you”.
So many questions. Do you get to the top of the Eiffel Tower in those 674 steps? If so, how tall are those steps? Are they scattered among the others, or evenly spaced? Are those steps at the top, in the middle, or at the bottom?
My mom and I walked UP those stupid Eiffel Tower steps to the first level because we didn’t speak French, and she was too “afraid” to try to buy elevator tickets from the guy – she thought she would come off as stupid. It seemed to me to take about 2 hours to hike up those steps.

Way to go Iceland, that is more books per month than many people read per year. Then again, what is there to do in Iceland?

Old folks
I asked my 91-year-old father, “Dad, what were your good old days?”
His thoughtful reply: “When I wasn’t good, and I wasn’t old.”

I believe at the top of the Eiffel Tower is a private office, that during WWII was used as an Allied spy station when the Germans controlled the city.

One of my ex-coworkers didn’t retire until he was 90. The angels arrived shortly thereafter. RIP.

And the average teenage Icelander pretends to read 2.3 books per month.
Take care, may seasoned tower climber Pierre “The Other Thousand Or So Steps Are To The Third Ending” Talosord be with you, and gesundheit.

And the average American reads 2.3 books per lifetime, so it averages out.

I’d like to know how many books per month the average American reads, but I think the number would be embarrassing.

Maybe they aren’t reading 2.3 books per month. Maybe they are reading the same Kama sutra book 2.3 times per month.
