You know, Spitsy was afraid of the most non-threatening animals/objects, which was made funny by only having him being afraid of them. But now, having Nate be in on it by making him scared too just kind of kills the joke.

If this comic was animated with voice acting, that bird’s roar would sound like a pterodactyl screech.

Has anyone ever actually listened to pigeons? They’ve got a call that sounds pretty much like a crow. Still, that’s the only scary part about them, the call.

The pigeon would be more closely related to Compsonathus (think tiny raptor) than to a pterosaur. Pterosaurs were reptilian, dinosaurs (bird ancestors) weren’t.
