I wore one compression sock throughout late November to mid-December for a sore ankle that I had sprained working at the grocery store.

Some of us Pluggers don’t wear socks at all. Too hard to put them on when you have to reach beyond a huge gut to do it! ;/

I wore a pair on my flight to Australia from America. Or a couple of pairs. It worked :)

Then there’s the one that inflates and deflates after operations!

Had though about ‘chicken legs’ but decided to refrain ! ! ! !

One of the best current TV shows, Bob Hearts Abishola, involves (centers around) a compression sock businessman from Detroit and a woman from Nigeria he falls in love with and marries.

I got the wife a pair of those, along with a cane,rocking chair and a shawl……for some reason, she didn’t use any of them….hmmmmmm

This is no joke though. This will easily kill you.

I prefer compression shorts.

“Flesh colored” matches NO ONES flesh color.

Never used those so I don’t know much about them ;-)

I use a sock assist and have a multitude of patterns and colors.

I wear cuffed ankle socks and they are next to impossible to find. All the socks these days seem to end either at the shoe level or just above.

So a couple of years before the pandemics started I took what I knew of the theory of darning socks and learned to darn them. On sewing night last week I did one large hole in the heel of a sock and 3 holes total in the toes of 2 other socks.
