Hi. I’m still here. Rough week. The funeral was yesterday, burial tomorrow. We still don’t know exact cause and still have no clue where any of his belongings are. A major lesson learned…. you need the persons social security number for the death certificate. To get a copy of his SS card you need a death certificate. I finally got his number from a former employer. Make sure you have your loved ones numbers written down in a safe place. You never know when you will need them. I am disgusted by the arrogant attitude of some businesses who want employees to believe that their lives belong to the business in question. I am even more disgusted by those employees who go along with this. No wonder our society is such a mess.

I have an iDiot “smart” phone (iPhone SE2). The only reason I carry it and keep it on is that it talks to my hearing aids. I avoid texting except for emergencies, or occasionally to send a photo to someone who has a specific need or request that cannot be done efficiently by email.

Robin is absolutely correct. I’ve seen iDiots driving their cell phones on the bike path, texting with both hands, and definitely not looking where they were going. Last year, one of them almost collided with me, head on.
