Winky is not paranoid!! He knows that everyone is out to “get him!!!”

A cavernous pit on a space ship?
Mike and Sully can be quite persistent. ; )
Dr. Mel is rather proud of the tech that allows a bottomless pit on a spaceship.
“Tomb of Terror” No. 1, published (I think) in 1959. It was written by John Stanley, best known as the writer of the classic “Little Lulu” stories. It contai9ned a story about a carnivorous bedside rug.
Stanley knew how to scare kids.
A cavernous pit inside the RU Sirius?
It’s the on-board black-hole used to generate the ship’s artificial gravity.
Put a rug on it
The hole leads to an airlock, which leads to outer space, which is essentially a cavernous pit.
Thistledown…and the Jarts!
“Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.”
“Yes, yes, I checked and there are monsters in all three places, now go to sleep!”
At least Winky doesn’t have Binkley’s Closet of Anxieties.
Winky, do you understand that Dr. Mel is the only monster, you should be afraid of.
Personally, I think Winky is a little old for the “monsters under the bed” gambit.
He has two??
And turn off the pendulum before you close the door.
Like the NSEA Protector with its odd “choppy crushy things,” this space station was badly written (or designed).
“That’s what the monsters fell into.”
WHO DESIGNED THAT PLACE??!!
Does a Wumpus count as a monster?
I’ve said it before, but Dr. Mel makes all other mad scientists look no worse than mildly annoyed.
