These are awful. 8-16 drunks behind a wheel making their way down the streets. Nothing amazing about that, just awful. I think our city council banned them years ago.
The greatest advances in civilisation are usually so obvious after the event that either no-one even notices, or everyone wonders why they didn’t think of them.
I can’t imagine it being all that fun. Walking down the street with a group of friends who are all drunk is bad enough, I can’t imagine trying to navigate a pub-on-wheels with them!
Back in my early 20’s I would go pub hopping with friends and just walking from one location to another was a test of patience for those of us who weren’t drunk or were barely buzzed walking alongside those who were sloshed beyond belief going down wrong streets, walking in the middle of the street, laying down on the sidewalk, trying to climb light poles, etc. Oh the memories!!
These are quite annoying to others but are hugely popular in Nashville for hen/bachelorette parties. And Nashville is hugely popular for such parties, period. Just read that there are more than 100 a day!
They are very goo d in annoying citizens. Drunk loud tourists keeping up the traffic. Luckily after some years they got banned in certain areas in Budapest. So it just died.
