When I was a teacher, there were a few times when students would compliment me at the end of the year, and I can’t even describe the way it made me feel. The best one was when a jock, who never appeared to be the least bit interested in civics, came up to me and said that he had really learned a lot from me, and now he liked civics! Wow!
