The crazies, if they want to kill they will. Like criminals, laws are for the honest decent people. Criminals break the law that’s why they are criminals. Laws don’t stop the dishonest. It’s not the gun! It’s the crazy, no respect, no conscience, parents not raising their children to respect others or themselves, to have no remorse, no God in their life.

I will always wonder how many kids would be saved if teachers were willing and able to carry. In Uvalde, we will always wonder how many would have been saved if the police had done what they should and worked to confront that shooter, immediately. Defensive Gun Use stats show that guns save between 2x-10x the number of lives that are taken every year and that includes suicides which are the vast majority of gun deaths. When you boil down the statistics (From the FBI), it is only 1600 bad gun homicides per year. (Eliminate the suicides which are 2/3rds, and then the criminals killing criminals, which is about 8000, and then you knock out the justified shootings and accidents and we are left with just a few bad deaths. So the number of lives saved is many, many times the number of problematic murders each year and yet the leftists across our nation ignore that.)

@OldsVistaCruiser: Swalwell? The screwing a Chinese spy guy? The “let’s nuke gun owners” guy? He’s certainly the go-to person for good ideas. /sarc

It’s truly sad when a plea for sanity and help devolves into a political finger pointing trash the left/right bunch of xyz.

Politics make me sick. Look out for the kids, not guns.
