I thought it was only missing the left front suspension and wheel … didn’t realize before that it’s also missing the entire rear axle. Those are the parts I would concentrate on replacing first, so it could at least sit on four wheels and be able to be rolled around.
It’s obviously gonna take Baldo a while, but it should be a real smooth ride when it’s finished!
Finally he has some motivation. Where the guy from the car club now? Cleaning it up is a great start. Now a list of priorities. I’m surprised how well the interior looks. How about he makes some extra money detailing cars to fund this project?
Baldo, you work at an auto parts store – get that car off the cinderblocks, and on jackstands!!!
When (not if) the cinderblocks fail, repairing the subsequent damage will be costly – if you’re under the car when they fail, you’re likely to end up dead.

Please change the orientation of those blocks, they aren’t safe in that position. Or don’t climb under todo work.

62 this time, maybe it’s settled now, after several changes in the past.

Not only no progress toward restoration, it lost a wheel or two; after suddenly reappearing in the driveway.

I know this is just a comic strip but does Baldo know that he’s got a convertible sitting uncovered in his driveway?

The rust has never shined so brightly!

By this time he should at least have the wheels and tires purchased so they can move this vehicle more easily. Either that or the drivers door.

For the amount he spent on Car Wash and Car Wax, he could have bought several of the missing parts.
