Which reminds me.

We were in the back of the house when we heard an awful noise. We rushed to the kitchen to see our younger son standing at the very edge of the room, looking frightened at the shelves I had built lying on top of the dining room table.

“Son, where were you when the shelves hit?”

“I was standing right here when they hit the table.”

Something about his answer seemed a mite specific.

“Where were you when they STARTED to fall?”

He pointed to where the top of the shelves USED to be, where he had climbed.

You might want to consider getting the kids a babysitter for the day and you and Wanda just go. That is if you want to keep your job.

On the plus side, it seems the boss really appreciates Darryl. On the minus side, Hammie.
