Wanda, you’d not need to use mom voice and scare your adult friends if you discipline your kids better and teach them how to act properly in public and as guests at other people’s homes.
it never ceases to amaze me when parents go out they let their kids run wild without any discipline. Then don’t go out until they’re taught how to act properly in public. You know, when they’re going 36 or so. ;}
My mom was a shade under 5ft who raised 4 boys. She wasn’t a loud yelling type but she had the ability to make us stop annoying her with one stern sentence and her famous look because we knew what would happen if we didn’t, lol. Point being never underestimate the power of a mom regardless of size.
In real life, though, it is all about preparation, and you know—parenting. We took our kids with us everywhere. Beforehand, we’d tell them where we were going and what the occasion was about and how to greet people, and what their house might look like, and not to touch anything, etc. It all started with our parents. They never had to “child proof” their homes because our kids were coming. My mother did that with us. I just don’t understand how people let their kids run wild in restaurants or in stores, not to mention wild and noisy crying in church or at a church wedding. It’s just disgusting.
It still annoys me to think of the times people with normal children gave me “advice” on how to raise my two autistic boys. Their superior attitude was most inappropriate and insulting.

Question…why is WREN fighting? Or does she just want it so that her siblings will stop fighting?

They just got there and Hammie and Zoe are already acting up. Who besides me think this visit is going to be a disaster?
