What does your mom do?

I wish my Dad was around right now. I would love to have those debates and advice with and by him. Been well over 40 years. Miss you Dad. Hope that you are having fun. Happy Father’s Day….

This would have been lovely for Mother’s Day. It’s still nice now, of course. Moms always have the answer — until you become one!

I remember as a kid wondering how my mom always knew whether I was really sick or just faking it. Then I became a mom and it was so obvious when my daughter tried the same thing. She couldn’t fake me out either. :o)

I wish I could call out and Mama and Daddy would answer.. as a friend once said, I’m an orphan :(

Wish I could do that

I never really had a mother or a father when I was young. I never got the chance to be a father nor an influence on anybody’s life. Happy Father’s Day to all of those who are lucky enough to have a father and be one. I will spend my day working, as usual.

I would have asked my dad not mom. As far as I knew growing up – and until the Internet came along after he had died – dad knew everything about everything.
