I’m amazed that the starter is also a participant. Wouldn’t that give him a sizable advantage in the race, since only HE knows when the start will be? But to what extent is his momentum slowed by whatever recoil his extended arm will absorb from the starter’s pistol? Plus, the poor guy loses his hat in the process. He’s probably going to need that!

The only one who knows the date and time is the Father Himself, so the guy with the starter pistol must be God. I guess if He can look like George Burns or Morgan Freeman, He can look like the guy with the starter pistol.

Too early for soul harvest.

I’m SO ready for that race to begin!

I had to do a double take, at first I thought it said ‘rupture’. Gotta get new glasses.

Looks like a UFO is beaming them all up. Hmmmmmm.

This made me audibly gasp - I did not see that coming. Whitehead’s work does that to me-he is unpredictable, which is a good thing!

So . . . what were they smoking — or ingesting — just prior to the pistol going off, that put them into such a state of rapture?
