I haven’t kept up with social justice in Vietnam. Did Nike raise wages? Are the workers better off?

I won’t call it a ‘scandal’ per se, but we had an expose on pulltabs (like in the bars) for charitable causes (high school high teams, etc.). Amazing how some places managed to have $150K in ‘operating and administrative costs’ and “hey, we donated $1000 to the hockey team”.

Mike’s shoulder is dislocated in panel one, and Kimmy’s hair is longer in silhouette or it changes to a goat beard.

If Michael wants to do the right thing, he should throw a garbage can through Nike’s front window.

I agree that this was truly a fantasy during his playing career, but he seems to at least be trying make up for it a little bit now. The modern equivalent Lebron is a little better in that he has worked charity work into his portfolio, but he has also made sure it does not impact his earning power.

Wow, that really is pure fantasy.

It’s been a long time since this arc ran but I think the real Mike actually was a bit shamed by it into making some changes.

Why would she want Nike to get all that money back? ☺
