This just proves that it is now a “Woman’s World.” It is perfectly alright to contradict father by what the boy says in the second panel. Men just shrug it off. But advice to kids. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER say the same thing to mom on Mother’s Day!

can’t get much better than what he enjoys doing on his break or time off.

Have to agree…. The family always wants t go eat out… I just want to stay home. The compromise: order out for eating in… And watch some minor league baseball on MiLB…

I agree with Brutus. It’s the comfort of the routine.

Most Dads really don’t want much in the order of gifts. However, a really GREAT meal with an accompanying dessert and even some snacks throughout the day, with maybe even a little attention from the wife, would definitely break the routine of everyday being Dads’ Day….

If Brutus is the lord of his castle – and the Bible Apostle Paul) says every day is LORD’S day – maybe Gladys has hit the nail on the head.

Sounds to me like he retired.

It’ll be a good day if he can get a restpit from the MIL.

Happy Father’s Day to all! I plan to spend it with my therapy dog and our other team (golden retriever and handler) in the hospital seeing dads who can’t be home. Moms, dads, kids, staff, whoever needs a good hug from a sweet dog or one to get right in bed with someone who needs that attention.

Now and then it is earned.

Go for it Brutus, how much bad luck can you have just laying on the couch, and the Guardians have won five in a row, so it should be a good game.

He didn’t always take a nap or that kid isn’t his…
