Get outside Adam. See what’s around you and draw from what you see, hear, smell….etc(before it rains).

Once again Mr Harrell has writer’s block and writes on that…

I have trouble writing a report sometimes, so I will usually just start by writing about why I can come up with a good report. Once I get started writing about how difficult it is to write about all the stuff I need to say, I have it all on paper. All I need to do then is organize it with a little cut and paste.

Writer’s block is difficult. Adam needs a muse.

Adam needs a lot of something!

Kind of a corollary of Murphy’s Law, if you try to think if something, you won’t.

Write what you know…Coffee. A man goes on the hunt for the ultimate coffee bean, traveling many countries, trying many kinds, until he finds that One…

I usually find that once I’ve concentrated on a subject for a while with nothing coming, if I think about something else entirely a “brilliant” idea will pop into my head. (unfortunately this sometimes occurs in the middle of the night and my eureka scares the cat)
