With each failure you learn. Keep trying.

I didn’t always like string beans, wouldn’t have known I liked them now without the occasional retry. Still haven’t figured out cauliflower.

… that last panel is an excellent summary of a human trait I’d never really thought about specifically before. Amazing.

Well, even I (a person who loves digging into the dirt like a wild terrier!) can understand how you feel!

Last panel: Wonderful details! Even the small t-shirt label peeks out. ♥ ♥ ♥

There was a time back when, when I loved gardening and growing beautiful flower beds, etc. I tried and failed at many of the flowers and veggies, but learned from it as well. The best veggie crop was the ingredients to make salsa, tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, etc. Now I can’t even eat salsa, so I just remember how good it was when I grew it myself.

Nothing wrong with just learning about new things. (I know about a lot of things I don’t understand.) At the least it will make you a better Sidewalk Supervisor.

My cousins planted trees to form a windbreak about 12 years ago on the second weekend after they moved into their house. They are looking great and do a great job. And make a lovely home for birds. And squirrels.
