It’s usually only a week with games and food in addition to the Bible study which is usually wrapped in fun activities too. But you have to like chasing around after the little ones.
I’m sure they would appreciate some hand drawn art for the newsletter. For some of the gals, you just can’t have enough Jell-O salad recipes. Now the ones training horses are just too busy.
When I was a kid I discovered my mom’s Hurlbut’s kids’ bible, a relic of her Methodist past. Even though I was raised as a Jew I loved the stories. I only read the OT part because I was worried something horrible would happen to me if I read the appendix. The characters had wonderful names like Ahab, Jehu, Uriah… The stories were almost as fun as Norse mythology. The illustrations were great too.

I like that the answer is “I suppose I can”, not “I suppose I should”. That shows a good spirit.

You’ll have to fit a few kids into a single panel—at least once, no? Should be fun!

I went to VBS for years, but all I can remember is making a box out of Popsicle sticks. There’s always lanyards, I suppose . . .

It is all of the prep and clean up afterwards. Oh, of course the children. I see exhaustion on the horizon.
