In this case, I think it’s the bear.

I can’t bear to see what happens next.

I wouldn’t bet against Grog.

A Standoff? I think they will soon both just shrug it off (as if to say “Whatever?”) and move on.

Much depends on which one’s hungrier.

In this case I believe it’s better for the bear to “exit, stage right”, because Grog is no Antigonus for him to “Exit, pursued by a bear”!

Bear with me while I figure this out…….

Oh oh looks like when these two meet there’s a lot of trouble bruin.

If the Wizard can have a dragon as a pet, why can’t Grog have a bear as a pet. Maybe this how they greet each other.

This match could remain calm unless that is a Momma bear. I have seen videos of momma bears attacking oncoming trains when their cubs were with her on the tracks. That one did not work out well for her, but I believe all survived.
