Gasp! Sounds like Henry VIII, he ate the beautiful black swans from his pond…

I lived next door to a meat inspector. That animal should’ve been destroyed, not fit for human consumption.

That would have been white swans that Henry feasted on, as the first black swans were sent from Australia where they’re native, to England in 1791 as ornamental birds. A good sized colony of black swans still survive in the Norfolk area of England interestingly enough.

Wonder if he wants a nice Chianti and Fava beans???

Well, she always will be part of you.
