“Shark Week!” Not even the comics are safe.

Love it! Looks more like a dogfish, though.

The copyright year is 1975, the same year that Jaws came out.

Bad dog Snoopy.

To put this in historical perspective the movie “Jaws” had opened in June 20, 1975, and by this time it was the talk of the land shouting “SHARK!”

Hee, hee, hee… Sardonic laughter !

You have to admit, Snoopy does a great shark impression.

Well, it is Shark Week after all.

I think you’ll need a bigger birdbath.

The only thing missing was John William’s score from the movie…

Schultz missed out on the opportunity to draw Snoopy’s ears to look like a shark fin. That would have added so much to the visual gag. I’m surprised he didn’t…he rarely missed a sight gag.

Where did Snoopy hide?

Is this the same bird feeder that Snoopy tried to swim in before. Then he could only get his butt under water, whereas now he can get his whole body under. Judging from the size of his head today I don’t think he was on a diet.

Sharks famously yell, “SHARK!” when they attack.

And 3 days ago when Snoopy got the invite, he said I’ll go but I know I’ll regret it.
