Now as you always tell Molly, all you need to do is to retrace your steps from where you had been before the hole in the pocket. Your phone will be located at the last place you look.
Some years ago we got home (in the early am) from the movies so it was the last show of the night, and husband was missing his phone. He looked online and it was still in the area of the movies, so back we went. We searched the parking lot – not there. Well, if it was in the closed movie theater – at least is was safe.
Problem was the next day we had a reenactment event to go and he had to run a quick board meeting in the morning while setting up for the event – and the theater would not be open until around noon.
So I left the event – in 18th century closing, including sun glass lens eye glasses with lenses slightly less in size than nickels, and drove to the theater about half an hour away. I did take off my cap before going into the theater. I had hoped the woman we knew from our evening visits would be working – but no, it was a stranger. I explained the situation. Luckily she believed me – I guess who else would come there is such odd clothing(?). Movies had not started running yet for the day. I went to where we had be sitting – between the glasses being sung glass lens and being so tiny I could not see anything on the floor – and too dark to see if I took off my glasses. I was trying to figure out how to get down on the floor when I thought of – yes – calling his phone with mine. His phone was actually sitting in the row behind where we had sat somehow and I was able to retrieve it. I thanked the employee on the way out and drove back to the event, gave the phone to husband (on the side so no one see it) and went to work on my embroidery demonstration.

And a free fashion hint. Lose the pants.

It’s a start. Just retrace your steps in those pants.

Yes, always call the phone if it is lost.
