I don’t know what the problem is. If Hammie just continues to use the bush for his personal toilet the gopher is sure to get up and go-fer another place to live.

Doing it humanely can be a challenge. If you blow PETA off, and go no-holds-barred, ….. it still be a challenge or get into trouble with the law. Very early morning “target practice” with a pellet gun is advised.
