What is a summer without chaos.

Cactus Pete: Over two months left? Not these days. Schools start in the middle of August now.

Get moving, slug. You’ll have plenty of time to lay back and relax after you die, and that comes faster than you think.

Time is cruely limited. Spend it wisely.

Then get off that fat ash tree of yours and get a move on.

Oh boy…away we go, an adventure!

I was going to comment that one day Danae will realize the real adventure was the friends she made along the way. But then I remembered she’s not really all that keen on making many friends.

About time for the other kids and the alien to contribute to her summer idyll.

Summer isn’t “half over” until August 1st, aka “Lammas Day”, the midpoint between the Summer Solstice and the Autumnal Equinox.

I vote Danae should stow away on Cap’n Eddie’s boat and share one of his adventures.

I know I want to get some summer stuff done!

On the contrary, we have a whole half of summer left to do whatever we please. Let’s go do something “interesting”?

Let’s see if Danae can come up with something as good as the “Noodle incident!”

Maybe she could just sit quietly and let everyone else enjoy the moment. :)

When the country was founded, it took 20 farmers to feed 1 city person. Now 1 farmer can feed 50 non-farmers. Why do we still cling to the pretense that the farmers need their kids for 3 months every summer to help with the crops? Wouldn’t it make more sense for everybody to have school year-round?

Is Danae chaotic neutral or chaotic evil?

July is my least favorite month, too hot and no good sports. August is the next worst.

How long has he known her? Must be at least 20 years now, right?

Can’t be that long into the summer: there are still green leaves on the tree and green grass under it.
